Participation Requirements & Information
Below are the necessary forms that must be completed before a student participates in any athletic activity in Hamilton Schools. A student must have a current physical ( after April 15th of the previous school year to be considered current) on file with the Coach of the sport. In addition, a current “Parental Consent to Treat” form must also be on file in conjunction with an up-to-date “Concussion”, and “Sudden Cardiac” Forms. If you are a home school student who chooses to compete at the school for which you would be zoned; you will need to complete the “Home School” Form and have received District level approval prior to participating.
HCS State Champions
Hamilton County Schools had an outstanding week at the 2024 TSSAA Spring Fling State Championships in Murfreesboro, TN. Once the dust settled, Hamilton High School accounted for one team champion and two team state runners-up.
Signal Mountain Girls added to their track and field dynasty by being crowned the best in the state once again and their Men’s team posted a State Runner-Up performance.
In soccer, CSAS secured the Men’s Runner-Up trophy.
To cap off these great accomplishments, Hamilton County Schools had 13 individuals crowned High School State Champions in individual events. In addition to the high school performances, Dalewood Middle was crowned State Track and Field Champion and included two individual State Champs.
